Jackie Frater and Lachie McCallum

Photograph courtesy of David Foot, Surrey, who had annotated the photograph with the above surnames and estimated to have been taken around 1971.

The two men are thought to be Jackie Frater and Lachie McCallum on the Monaughty Forest Walks among the magnificent Douglas Fir on the Pluscardine side of the forest.

Jackie Frater was in charge of Newton Nursery and Laich of Moray Forest for a time with Lachie McCallum as his forester.

Can anyone confirm the names of the two men?

The attached PDF shows another view of the walk, the two men and dog.
