Cook’s accommodation Glentress Camp
A sketch by Martin Harrity as he remembers, when as a young boy, the wooden hut was used to accommodate the staff who worked in the cook house.
From the sketch it appears that the hut was divided into male and female staff sections each heated by a coke stove. Each half was divided into two bedrooms, each room with two single beds. The half hut also housed a bathroom, living room and some cupboards.
Any more details of the camp building would be very welcome.
