Bush House – Multiplanter

Photograph is courtesy and copyright of Forestry Commission, Forest Research, Roslin, and provided with help from Glen Brearley. FR Photo number No B4545 taken by I A Anderson.

No information on the Multiplanter but is a small tractor device operated by side levers from a walking position. The soil grove cutters which allow the spaced plant roots on the planting wheel to be placed into the soil are unfortunately not seen. It would be interesting to see how the next row of seedlings was spaced.

Any information on this ‘Multiplanter’ would be welcome.
